AIARE 2006 Design Awards
The North Coast Architecture Center has assembled all the submittals to the AIARE 2006 Design Awards on this part of the site.
When you view them, please note that each entry has a summary of the project that gives insight into the design challenge presented to the Architect and how the Architect, working closely with the Owner, sought to solve it.
We invite you, the Viewer, to look at these projects, not simply as interesting and often beautiful images, but as attempts by the designers to address a problem, an opportunity, a vision of the Owner, a vision of the Architect, to capture something of the essence of a site, etc.
We also invite you to visit Architectural Principles under the Education portion of the Center for additional things to keep in mind while viewing the submittals!
